Dear all children in Pr 5/3 and 5/4,

1. What is a tessellation?
2. What are some of the things that you need to take note when you are doing tessellations?

Please post your comments on the blog! All of you can also treat this blog as a discussion platform. Feel free to drop your comments on the blog.

Tessellations are shapes that should not have gaps between them and should not be overlapped.
We need to take note that we should not leave gaps in between the shapes or let them be overlapped.

okie, I think most of you know the concept of tessellations as I have finished marking the test. But I do realise a common error or rather misconceptions. I will explain further in class. Well, most of you do repeat what other people have said, and you may feel it is not necessary to do so. I do agree with you. Well, then you may comment on what others have said and you may want to corect some of the misconceptions that you friends may have pertaining to a certain topic in Maths. You may also want to highlight the errors and give and explain the correct concepts to your friends. I will try to post some word problems on the blog especially during the PSLE marking week. During that week, I won't be able to see all of you for the entire 5 days. When school reopens after the marking exercise, it will soon be your SA2.
